So Twilight is for sure one of my most favorite books ever. I got addicted after about ten minutes of reading, and I’m happy to say that I’m just as devoted to it as ever. Can’t wait for Breaking Dawn and, I don’t know about you, but as soon as I heard about the special edition eclipse I ran to Barnes and Noble and read the first chapter of the new book. But that’s not what this is about.
The movie. Oh… my… god…
I’m just happy to be blessed with the satisfaction of seeing my favorite series put to the screen. We’re lucky, Twilighter! BE THANKFUL!
I’ll admit that when I first heard Rpattz was going to be our Edward I was a bit taken aback. I mean… Cedric Diggory? I was up about his eyebrows, yes, a bit like a national forest. But that was then. This is now! They turned him into a gorgeous, magnificent, vamptastic Edward!
And, no, I’m not talking about the disgusting Entertainment weekly cover picture, because that was disgusting looking and so NOT Edward worthy.
I’m talking about those hot, sexy set pictures all true Twilighters have seen by now. He looks pale. He looks fierce. He lookes gorgeous. He looks Edward!
Of course, no one is going to be exactly what you saw in your head, duh! I mean, Edward Cullen, or for that matter all the Cullens, are suppose to be super humanly beautiful. Which means, of course, that no human can perfectly play any of them, no one can be your perfect Edward because, as sad as it may be, he does not exist. *tear*
Alas, even if Robert Pattinson wasn’t a good Edward (WHICH HE IS!), we should still be one thousand times nicer to him than we are! To reference NoMoreMarbles, my favorite TwiTuber, and one youtube video she posted about an angry Robert comment. The comment talks about how much everyone hates Robert (I love him), and how everyone thinks he’s hideous (I think he’s beautiful). Then she goes on to writes that she’s speaking “for all Twilight fans” (BS, lady! I speak for myself!) in saying that we each PRAY EVERY night that he DROPS DEAD! A little drastic, don’t you think? It truely saddens me to know that I’m part of such a nasty, jerky, just plain mean fan base. I for one don’t want Rpattz to drop dead, because I just might have to go all romeo and juliet and kill myself, too! Sad, sad stuff. JUST BE THANKFUL THAT THEY’RE MAKING A MOVIE AT ALL! Please, get over being so shallow and just enjoy knowing that the MEDOW SCENE will be performed before our eyes! The cast doens’t have to be perfect as long as SOMETHING is being made.
Besides, if we’re all going to be total jerks to Robert, tell him to go die and all that, then why should he do us any favors? Maybe if we actually support him he’ll like us enough to want to do a good job!! Being rude is just making things far, far worse than they have to be. Be thankful. Don’t wish death upon poor, pretty actors. And please, please tell me your opinion about Robert. I mean, I want to know if you think he’ll do well or not. And more importantly, who you think could do a better job than him.
Remember, he has to be 1) young enough, 2) an actually good actor, 3) capable of doing a decent american accent.

I cnt believe that sum1 wld even say they wld want robert 2 drop dead their crazy he’s the mst gourges thing and I wld mst likely have a heart attack if I saw him. I think that he’s the perfect edward. I’ve read all the books 3 times and that’s how I picture him. And I’m counting dwn the days wen twilight comes out. Just 143 days! Bt that’s stil way 2 long my famliy thinks I’m crazy bc Im a robert and edward fanatic and I have 2 gt every thing he’s in. I also rly like kristen she will b a good bella. She just has the bella sorta awkwardness. So Im so excited 4 the movie and screw u ppl who says robs nt goin 2 b good in this movie. Bc he’s goin 2 n amazing!
